d&b Q Series Loudspeakers
January 2008
The Q-Series combines a variety of technologies with remarkable results. The loudspeakers have conventional rotatable CD horns, dipolar driver arrangements and toroidal wave shaping devices integrated using line array principles. The exceptional Q factor symbolizes the precise dispersion control to very low frequencies and for the size and weight, the Q-Series produces surprisingly high sound pressure levels. These flexible loudspeakers can be effortlessly combined for a multitude of small to large coherent arrays. They are ideal for situations using numerous open microphones, and where considerable gain before feedback is required for speech and music; in theatre, presentations, broadcast productions and orchestral events.
The modular design of d&b systems not only allow for a wide variety of configurations but also take into account standard truck widths.
When it comes to mobile use, d&b systems have the necessary qualifications: neutral sound, lightweight, safe and easy cabling and practical accessories with which even flown arrays can be installed swiftly. Their full acoustical, mechanical and electrical compatibility worldwide ensure high flexibility and availability when scheduling events.
