Camden Barfly’s refurbishment takes new dimension

Newly refurbished Camden Barfly is one of London’s best equipped 200 capacity venue, now featuring a fully revamped PA and lighting system and in situ 24-track recording suite. Renowned for staging regular live gigs and showcasing up and coming talent in Camden alongside more established acts, the Barfly’s revamp comprises a wide array of Dimension Audio’s innovative sound equipment ensuring the Barfly sounds better than ever.

As part of the Barfly’s overhaul, Dimension replaced the Turbosound vertical front of house PA TA-500 with a new horizontal TA-500 flown above the stage which now affords more space on stage whilst providing better audio coverage for the audience. The front of house PA Turbosound TSW-218 subwoofers were serviced and cleaned with new grilles fitted while the stage monitors were also serviced and resprayed prior to reinstall. With new and more powerful amplification installed onto the Front of House PA which was retuned and tweaked, the refurbishment ensured the entire system now works better than it has done in years.
